Added to the many important days in our life, we have the day of the interview as well, which is of quite prominence. Being dressed in a tidy attire, mostly formals projecting a neat look, is what is preferred for the day. What stands out in your whole attire is the shoes you wear so, it is equally important to focus on these .These would really give a signal to the interviewer about the personality of the person wearing them.
The choice of generic footwear is huge but when it comes to this segment the choice is very narrow. A base rule would be to prefer a pair of black shoes or a dark blue color shoes to go with your suit. Do not prefer to go with sandals or metal buckle slippers or strappy slippers or funky colored slip-on’s as these do not give a formal look and spell out a causal attitude. Ensure the shoes are neat and cleanly polished and are present in a correct shape. For women, best if you do not walk in for an interview with high heels as you might not be comfortable wearing these for a long time and your attention might shift to your shoes instead of the interview in place. Medium height heels are better if you are less in height and opt for plain black flats if you are tall.
